Back in the USA
We are back in the United States. We were all very sad when it came time to get back on the airplane. Some tears were shed when we said goodbye to our amazing tour guide. Everyone was very excited to be home and it made me a little sad to know that I wasn't. It was sad to think that when I arrived at the airport I wouldn't have any family waiting for me at the airport. But the second I stepped back on campus, I was welcomed by some friends who had made me a welcome back poster. It was then that I realized that even though I'm not at home, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else then at Salem with my amazing second family of close friends. We have a lot to do in the next week. We will have a daily class so we can ease back into our daily routine and reflect on our times in Argentina. We will prepare a presentation that will be open to all faculty and students. Busy, busy, busy. I'm glad to be back. I didn't realize how much I missed everyone here at Salem and even the small, simple things.
