Softball falls to Huntingdon at home

The Salem College softball team kept things tight with Huntingdon for two games, before the Hawks pulled away in the late innings. Huntingdon won both games by the score of 11-4, but they scored 11 combined runs in the 6th and 7th innings of the two games. Salem falls to 10-20 overall and 7-7 in the Great South, while the Hawks improve to 23-9 and 16-0 in conference play.

Softball crushes Wesleyan in GSAC doubleheader

The Salem College softball team put on a scoring clinic on the road against Wesleyan in a Great South doubleheader. The Spirits won the 1st game 13-1 in 5 innings, and cruised to a 16-7 game 2 victory.

Tennis picks up first win of the season against Wesleyan

The Salem College tennis team traveled to South Carolina and split two Great South matches with Wesleyan. In two very evenly played games, Salem lost game one 4-5, but came back in game two for a 5-4 win. The Spirits are now 1-8 this season overall and 1-6 in the GSAC.
