Volleyball loses at home to Huntingdon and Methodist
The Salem College volleyball team lost 2 matches at home to Huntingdon and Methodist. The Spirits fought hard in a tough 3-1 loss to Huntingdon (12-25, 25-18, 22-25, 23-25) in their first Great South match of the season. Methodist defeated Salem in 3 sets (11-25, 13-25, 17-25). Salem falls to 0-1 in the GSAC and 1-4 overall.

Winston-Salem, NC-The Salem College volleyball team lost 2 matches at home to Huntingdon and Methodist. The Spirits fought hard in a tough 3-1 loss to Huntingdon (12-25, 25-18, 22-25, 23-25) in their first Great South match of the season. Methodist defeated Salem in 3 sets (11-25, 13-25, 17-25). Salem falls to 0-1 in the GSAC and 1-4 overall.
In the Methodist match, Katie O'Leary (Seldova, AK) led the Spirits with 5 kills. Chelsea Jones (Glade Valley, NC) had 18 set assists and O'Leary finished with 12 digs.
The Spirits return to action on the 18th when they travel to cross-town rivals Piedmont International at 7:00.
