Volleyball falls on road at Guilford

The Salem College volleyball team dropped a non-conference road match to Guilford College's in 3 sets (25-22, 25-18, 27-25). Roslyn Nixon (Wilson, NC) led the Spirits with 12 kills in the match. Salem falls to 3-7 overall with the defeat.

Greensboro, NC-The Salem College volleyball team dropped a volleyballblocks1non-conference road match to Guilford College in 3 sets (25-22, 25-18, 27-25). Roslyn Nixon (Wilson, NC) led the Spirits with 12 kills in the match. Salem falls to 3-7 overall.

Chelsea Jones (Glade Valley, NC) had 26 assists and Kelsey Defosse (Wichita Falls, TX) served 4 aces. Michele Morgan (Chattanooga, TN) had 7 kills and 8 digs.

The Spirits return to action Saturday with home matches against Covenant and William Peace. The Covenant match is a Great South match-up and the Spirits hope to improve their GSAC record to 2-1.
