Volleyball set to celebrate two seniors next Tuesday

Winston-Salem, NC-The Salem College volleyball team is set to celebrate two seniors in their final home game October 23rd at 7:00 against Piedmont International. Katie O'Leary (Seldova, AK) and Brittany Miller (Hays, NC) are both 4-year members of the volleyball team. Both seniors are having their best overall seasons this year.
O'Leary is a middle blocker for the Spirits. Her first 3 seasons, she averaged 72 sets played per season. She has played 17 matches and 59 sets so far this season. She has raised her kills per set average this year to 1.61, after averaging 0.82 through her junior season.
She has also raised her digs per set average as a senior. Through her first 3 seasons she averaged 0.66 digs per set, and this season she is averaging 2.41. O'Leary also has averaged 0.28 blocks per set over her 4 seasons.
Miller is a libero for Salem. She also has raised her overall statistics and her senior year has been her strongest. She averaged 65 sets per season her 1st 3 years, and she has played 57 sets so far this season.
She has raised her aces per set to 0.44 after averaging 0.14 through her junior season. Miller is averaging 2.5 digs per set this season so far, which is exactly what she averaged through her first 4 seasons.
