Volleyball remains unbeaten at home with big win against Peace

The Salem College volleyball team remained undefeated at home with an impressive 3-2 victory against Peace College (25-21, 25-22, 16-25, 19-25, 15-10). Hart Wagner (Winston-Salem, NC) led the Spirits with 9 kills, 2 aces, 2 blocks, and 8 digs. The Spirits improve to 2-10, while Peace falls to 6-11.

Winston-Salem, NC-The Salem College volleyball team remained undefeated at home with an impressive 3-2 victory against Peace College (25-21, 25-22, 16-25, 19-25, 15-10). Hart Wagner (Winston-Salem, NC) led the Spirits with 9 kills, 2 aces, 2 blocks, and 8 digs. The Spirits improve to 2-10, while Peace falls to 6-11.

Salem got off to a quick start by winning the first two sets in impressive fashion. The Pacers fought back with two straight sets of their own, before Salem finished off Peace in the fifth set.

Brittani Stewart (Mocksville, NC) had a strong night with 8 kills and 4 blocks. Ty Graham (Pink Hill, NC) also had 8 kills and a team-leading 6 blocks. Chelsea Jones (Glade Valley, NC) led the Spirits with 6 service aces and 22 set assists in the win. Hannah Buff (Morganton, NC) led Salem with 16 digs.

Salem returns to action tomorrow when they host Covenant and Maryville.
