Winston-Salem, NC-The Salem College volleyball program is encouraged to announce that Keri Nolan committed to attend Salem next fall. Nolan was an outside hitter for Leslie Reeves at West Brunswick High School in Calabash, NC.
Nolan competed for two years of varsity play, and was a first team all-conference selection. She was her team's most valuable offensive player in 2008-2009, and was chosen for the second team all-area. Nolan helped lead her team to a conference championship in 2009. She also played club volleyball for Coach Jeannie Lambert with Cape Fear and for Coach Chad Shoaf with Silver Coast.
Nolan spent a lot of extra time involved in clubs at West Brunswick, and she was also consistently on the honor roll. She was a member of SALT and DECA, and she coached at her high school's summer volleyball camp. Nolan intends to major in Business Management at Salem.
Salem College is a NCAA Division III institution located in Winston-Salem, NC. Salem is the oldest educational institution for women in the United States, and was founded in 1772. The institution boasts a proud history of fostering independence in women. Salem was recently ranked number 67 in Forbes magazines second annual ranking of America's 600 best colleges, and as Forbes' number fourteen in their "America's Best College Buys" Top 100.
