Volleyball drops home non-conference match against Methodist

The Salem College volleyball team dropped a non-conference match at home against Methodist University. The Spirits played a strong first two sets, but Methodist prevailed with a 3-1 (21-25, 25-19, 15-25, 12-25) win. Christine Tillman (King, NC) led the Spirits with 10 kills. Salem falls to 6-10 on the season.

Tillman added 8 digs and 5 blocks in the match. Sara Maher (Longmont, CO) led the team with 21 assists, and she also contributed 8 digs. Katie O'Leary (Seldovia, AK) had a strong match with 6 kills.

Randi Roppolo (Weeki Wachee, FL) led the Spirits with 12 digs. Aubrey Bradshaw (Valdese, NC) had the only service ace for Salem in the match.

Salem returns to action tomorrow night when they host Greensboro College in another non-conference match at 7:00.
