Randolph Tops the Spirit in Final Home Game

Winston-Salem, NC- Salem College played their final home game of the season tonight as they hosted Randolph College in a non-conference volleyball game. After dropping the first two games (30-32, 20-30), the Spirits rebounded to win 30-24. Randolph (5-21) responded with a convincing 16-30 win in game five to defeat the Spirits (2-19).

Christine Tillman (FY, King, NC) led the Spirits with 13 kills, 11 digs and 2 aces. Katie Lineberger (Jr., Maiden, NC) had 13 kills, 10 digs, 2 blocks and one ace. Whitney Sorenson (Jr., Glendale, AZ) had 12 kills, 7 digs, 3 aces and 2 blocks. Tani Hatch (FY, Salt Lake City, UT) had 11 digs, 7 kills and 2 aces. Alyssa Alcos (FY, Jacksonville, FL) had nine digs.
