Track & Field compete in last meet of season at Radford
The Salem College track & field team competed in their last meet of the season at the Radford Highlander Invitational this weekend against mainly NCAA Division 1 competition. Stephanie Verdi (High Point, NC) broke the school record for the 5000 meter run in 20:59.63.

of the season at the Radford Highlander Invitational this weekend against mainly NCAA Division 1 competition. Stephanie Verdi (High Point, NC) broke the school record for the 5000 meter run in 20:59.63.
The Spirits had several personal records in the meet including Verdi's school record. Carolyn Merkel (Greenville, C) had personal records in the long jump and the 200 meter run. Natali Olveda (Salinas, CA) had personal records in the 1500 meter run and the 5000 meter run.
