Tennis falls 8-1 to finish South Carolina road trip

The Salem College tennis team lost 8-1 to Columbia College in their second match in South Carolina this weekend. Kerri Morgan (Walnut Cove, NC) won her singles match for the Spirits. Salem falls to 0-2 on the season with the loss.

Columbia, SC-The Salem College tennis team lost 8-1 to Columbia College in their second match in South Carolina this weekend. Kerri Morgan (Walnut Cove, NC) won her singles match for the Spirits. Salem falls to 0-2 on the season with the loss.

Morgan played both number one singles and doubles for Salem. She defeated Danielle Cupid in straight sets (6-4, 6-2). Morgan teamed with Angela Reavis (Boonville, NC) in doubles to lose 8-3 to Cupid and Raven Fair.

The Spirits will play their first home match of the season on Wednesday at 4:00 against William Peace University.
