Tennis wins fifth in a row

The Salem College tennis team won their fifth match in a row with a 6-3 victory against Ferrum College. This completes the Spirits season sweep of Ferrum. Salem improves to 6-1 on the season, while Ferrum drops to 1-4.
Angela Reavis (Boonville, NC) won both her singles and doubles matches. She defeated Brittney Bolden at number three singles (6-1, 2-0). She also teamed with Kim Wisen (Madison, OH) to defeat Bolden and Angelina Baaklini in number two doubles (8-5). Wisen also won the number five singles match against Megan Martin (6-0, 6-0).
Salem begins their Great South conference play when they host LaGrange on March 20th at 11:00 am.
