Tennis improves to 5-1 with 2nd victory against Peace

The Salem College tennis team finished their series sweep yesterday of Peace with an easy 8-1 victory. Salem defeated non-conference opponent Peace earlier in the season at home. Angela Reavis (Boonville, NC) and Amy Allison (Geneva, OH) each won their singles matches.

Raleigh, NC-The Salem College tennis team finished their series sweep yesterday of Peace with an easy 8-1 victory. Salem defeated non-conference opponent Peace earlier in the season at home. Angela Reavis (Boonville, NC) and Amy Allison (Geneva, OH) each won their singles matches.

Katherine Elliott (Edenton, NC) and Summer Whitener (Sandy Ridge, NC) combined to win the number one doubles match 8-0. Zoe Fawcett (Manteo, NC) and Cierra Young (Pooler, GA) combined in the number two doubles match for an easy 8-0 victory. Salem will try to sweep Ferrum College on March 17th at Ferrum.

1.Carly Neisler vs. Zoe Littomann 3-6, 0-6, Peace win
2.Angela Reavis vs. Rachel Frick 6-1, 6-1, Salem win
3.Amy Allison vs. Hannelore Manchester 6-3, 2-6, 10-3 tiebreaker, Salem win
