Tennis falls to LaGrange in first GSAC match

The Salem College tennis team lost their first Great South Athletic Conference match (GSAC) against LaGrange, 1-8. The Spirits were playing without their number one, three, and five players in the loss. Salem moves to 6-2 overall, and they drop to 0-1 in the GSAC.

Winston-Salem, NC-The Salem College tennis team lost their first Great South Athletic Conference match (GSAC) against LaGrange, 1-8. The Spirits were playing without their number one, three, and five players in the loss. Salem moves to 6-2 overall, and they drop to 0-1 in the GSAC.

Cierra Young (Pooler, GA) received Salem's lone point in the match at the number four singles position. She defeated April Trimback in three sets (6-4, 5-7, 10-6).

Salem returns to action on April 2nd when they host Huntingdon in another GSAC match.
