Elliott and Whitener selected as GSAC Doubles Players of the Week
The Great South Athletic Conference has named its women's tennis Players of the Week in singles and doubles with Melody Mitchell (Piedmont), Katherine Elliot (Salem), and Summer Whitener (Salem) all making the list. Mitchell took home the singles honor while Spirits partners Elliot and Whitener were given the league's doubles honors.

Whitener (Salem) all making the list. Mitchell took home the singles
honor while Spirits partners Elliot and Whitener were given the league's
doubles honors.
Mitchell was the GSAC Singles Player of the Week after posting a win at #5 singles 6-1, 6-1 against in-state rival Oglethorpe University. Elliot and Whitener are the GSAC Doubles Players of the Week as the two earned a win at the #1 doubles slot winning in shutout fashion 8-0 against Peace College.
