Three tennis players selected to GSAC All-Academic Team

LaGrange, GA-Three student-athletes from the Salem College tennis team were recently selected to the Great South Athletic Conference All-Academic Team. A student-athlete must have a 3.25 cumulative GPA to be placed on the All-Academic Team. Amy Allison (Geneva, OH), Ashley Bodford (Siloam, NC), and Rukhsona Usamanova (Durham, NC) were all placed on the team.

Allison is a sophomore and played mainly at the number six singles position for the Spirits. Bodford, a senior, alternated between the numbers three and four singles positions. Usamanova played at the number one singles and doubles position for the Spirits as a first year athlete.
