Decatur, GA- The Salem College tennis team lost two Great South matches this weekend to Agnes Scott (9-0) and to Spelman (7-2). Michala Michaux (Morganton, NC) was involved in both wins for the Spirits against Spelman. Salem falls to 1-5 in the Great South, and 3-6 overall.
Michaux defeated Adanne Eho (4-6, 6-4, 6-3) in number three singles play. She also was joined by Ashley Bodford (Siloam, NC) to defeat Eho and Sydney Davis (8-5) in number two doubles action.
Salem returns to action on April 13th when they travel to Winston-Salem State University at 3:00.
