Tennis comes up short at Greensboro College

Greensboro, NC- The Salem College tennis team lost at Greensboro College, 3-6. Kim Wisen (Madison, OH) continued her hot singles play by defeating Brittany Cates (1-6, 6-1, 6-3). Betty Teka (Addis Ababa, Ethiopia), playing for the first time this season, won her singles match (6-0, 6-0). Salem falls to 2-3 with the loss.
Elise Rouse (Wilmington, NC) returned to number one singles, but fell short against Brittany Price (3-6, 5-7). Samantha Niemiec (State Road, NC) paired with Jessica Hunter (Booneville, NC) to win the number three doubles match, 8-1.
Salem returns to action on April 4th when they travel to Decatur, GA to take on Agnes Scott at 3:00.
