“Today was a tough day!! Most of the matches were very competitive and some very close. Elise played great and defeated the same player she had lost to last year. She won decisively with a score of 6-3, 6-1. She dominated. Anna played a very close match at #2 losing the first set tiebreak 8-10 then came up short in the second set. It was a great and well fought match. Michala lost in another extremely close match but played very well. At the 5 and 6 positions our 2 newest and least experienced players Kim Wisen and Katie Martin played very well and lost in 2 very close sets. This was Katie's first singles match. In the doubles, the team of Tori Collier and Kim Wisen played a great strategic match and beat a solid team.”
