Aycock's Van Horn commits to play softball at Salem

Goldsboro, NC-The Salem College softball team is excited to announce that Jenna Van Horn has committed and deposited to attend Salem next fall. Van Horn played softball for Coach Romo and Coach Jordan at Charles B. Aycock High School in Goldsboro, NC. The Salem softball team finished the regular season in 3rd place in the Great South Athletic Conference.
Van Horn was a three-year varsity softball player for the Falcons. She won the team's coaches award, and she was invited to play for the North American Select team.
Van Horn also played nine years of club softball. She currently plays for the Carolina Stars, and she has also played for the Johnston County Clippers and the Wayne County Hurricanes.
She has been a member of the National Honor Society and a NC Scholar for her work in the classroom. She is the daughter of Beth and Mike Van Horn.
