Trinity High's Menard commits to play soccer at Salem

Hooksett, NH-The Salem College soccer team is pleased to announce that Meghan Menard has committed to attend Salem next fall. Menard played soccer for Coach Miranda Comiskey at Trinity High School in Hooksett, NH. The Salem soccer team is coming off a 16-3-1 overall record and Great South Regular Season Championship in 2012.
Menard, a midfielder and defender, was a varsity member for the Pioneers for four years, and she was a co-captain in 2012. She was selected to the New Hampshire All-State Honorable Mention team in 2012, and was selected as a NHIAA Scholar-Athlete.
Menard also played club soccer for the Concord Express, and she was on the New Hampshire Olympic Development Team in 2012. She also ran indoor and outdoor track at Trinity.
She has been a member of the National Honor Society, Youth and Government, Campus Ministry, and the student council at Trinity. Menard is the daughter of Joanna and Shawn Menard.
Salem College is a NCAA Division III institution located in Winston-Salem, NC. Salem is the oldest educational institution for women in the United States, and was founded in 1772. The institution boasts a proud history of fostering independence for women.
