Cloquet High's Rathe commits to play soccer at Salem

The Salem College soccer team is excited to announce that Kenzie Rathe has committed and deposited to attend Salem next fall.

kenziehighschoolCloquet, MN-The Salem College soccer team is excited to announce that Kenzie Rathe has committed to attend Salem next fall. Rathe played soccer for Coach Dustin Randall at Cloquet High School in Cloquet, MN. The Salem soccer team is coming off a 16-3-1 overall record and Great South Regular Season Championship in 2012.

Rathe was a three-year varsity letter winner as a goalie for the Lumberjacks. She was a 2012 Kernz and Co. All Star Selection, 2012 Lake Superior Conference 1st Team Selection, and 2012 most valuable player. Rathe was also a 2010 Lake Superior Conference 2nd Team Selection, and team most valuable player. She led the team to a Section 7A Championship in 2012.

Rathe played club soccer for the Cloquet Strikers. She was an all-conference basketball player twice for the Lumberjacks.

She was a four-year honor roll member and a member of the National Honor Society. Rathe was also a member of the Senior Executive Board, and she was the senior class treasurer at Cloquet. She is the daughter of Kelly and Jim Rathe.
