Paul VI Catholic High's Norman commits to play soccer at Salem

program
is excited to announce that Taylor Norman has committed to attend
Salem
next
fall. Norman played forward and midfield for Coach Meg Ashley at Paul VI Catholic High School in Springfield, VA for four years. The
Salem soccer team is coming off a 15-3 season, and a second-place regular season Great South Athletic Conference finish in 2010.
Norman was a two-time Washington Catholic Athletic All-Conference (WCAC) selection. She played eleven years of club soccer for Coach Luis Tobar and for Coach Juan Bernando for the Springfield Youth Club Spirit.
She was also very involved at Paul VI in academic and extracurricular activities. Norman was a two-year academic honor roll member. She also was a peer mentor, in the Junior Math League, and in the Spanish Club. Norman is the daughter of Felicia and Neal Norman.
Salem College is a NCAA Division III institution located in Winston-Salem, NC. Salem is the oldest educational institution for women in the United States, and was founded in 1772. The institution boasts a proud history of fostering independence in women. Salem has been ranked in the top 100 in Forbes magazines annual ranking of America's 600 best colleges, and in their "America's Best College Buys" Top 100.
