Swannanoa, NC- The Salem College Soccer Team traveled west into the mountains of North Carolina Monday afternoon to play the Owls of Warren Wilson College. After sixty minutes of regulation play and two overtime periods, the game ended in a 0-0 tie. Salem’s undefeated season is still intact as they improved to 11-0-2. Warren Wilson College (1-4-3) out shot the Spirits 15-5.

Andrea Baldwin (FY, Hudson, NC) recorded eight saves to record her seventh shutout of the season. Owl’s goalkeeper, Emily Holzer, saved 3 shots.

According to Head Coach Jay Callahan (3rd year), “The backline played great today with Jamie Eurell (FY, Jacksonville, NC), Michala Michaux (So., Morganton, NC), Courtney Sauer (FY, Carthage, NC) and Amber Bryant (FY, Jonesville, NC) leading the way.”
