Two more key running recruits commit to Salem

Akaya McElveen (New Haven, CT; Warren F. Kaynor Technical/Wilbur Cross High School) has committed to running cross country and track & field at Salem, adding some needed depth to both teams.  McElveen is one of the top caliber runners in the state of Connecticut, participating in both Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field State Championships.  Excelling at the 400-meters in track, she will also run cross country and is eager to join the Spirits.

Another First Year recruit joining the Salem College cross country and track & field teams is Joanna Mills (Cary, NC; Raleigh Charter High School).

Both ladies will be immediate contributors to both teams.
