KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Salem College senior Rachel Fichthorn (Nokesville, Va.) is this week’s Association of Division III Independents women’s cross country Runner of the Week. Fichthorn won her third consecutive individual title and Salem claimed their second straight North Carolina State Cross Country Championship in Cary, N.C. on Oct. 18. Fichthorn broke the 6K school record by 10 seconds with a time of 24:49.
