Miller records the first ever triple-double in Salem basketball history

The Salem College basketball team traveled down the road to defeat Piedmont Baptist College, 82-58. Amber Miller (Mebane, NC) recorded the first ever triple-double in the history of the Salem program. She had 15 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists. Salem improves to 7-17 on the season.

Winston-Salem, NC-The Salem College basketball team traveled down the road to defeat Piedmont Baptist College, 82-58. Amber Miller (Mebane, NC) recorded the first ever triple-double in the history of the Salem program. She had 15 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists. Salem improves to 7-17 on the season.

The Spirits never trailed in the game, and went into the break with a 33-26 advantage. They improved from shooting 28% in the first-half from the field to 42% in the second-half.

Shamaz Denerson (Atlanta, GA) added a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Kelsey Rector (State Road, NC) scored 19 points and added 3 steals. Emily Buffaloe had a game-high 27 points for Piedmont Baptist.

Salem plays their last regular season game of the year on Saturday, when they host Southern Virginia at 2:00.
