Rector will be joined in the backcourt by Jessi Watts (Hillsville, VA), who led the team with 10.3 points per game last season. Sarah Smith (Hays, NC) should lead the frontcourt this year, she averaged 9.7 points and 6.7 rebounds in her first season. The team will get leadership from senior Michala Michaux (Morganton, NC), who is a two-time captain.
Coach Jackson added six first-years to the team that should make an immediate impact and see a lot of time on the court. There is also one transfer on the squad.
