Salem Falls to College of Notre Dame
Baltimore, MD- The Salem College Basketball Team traveled to Baltimore, MD this weekend to play the first of two games in less than 24 hours. The Spirits met up with a tough College of Notre Dame team who defended their home floor well with an 85-66 victory over the Spirits Saturday evening. 
Michala Michaux (Morganton, NC) led the Spirits with a season-high 22 points. Alexandrea Ervin (Morganton, NC) scored 12 and Casey Jones (Winston-Salem, NC) had 10. Shakila Springs (Winston-Salem, NC) led Salem in rebounding with 16. Lindsay Cross (Asheboro, NC) grabbed 8 rebounds to go along with her 8 points.
Gloria Broady scored 22 points for the victorious College of Notre Dame (4-2).
The Spirits of Salem College (3-4) will now travel to play Trinity University in Washington, DC tomorrow at 2 pm.
