Currently: University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine

“Ever since I was little I’ve had a passion for medicine and a desire to be challenged. I first became interested in Salem because it’s near a teaching hospital and associated with Wake Forest School of Medicine. It took only one visit with Salem’s biology department to see that being in pre-med at a women’s college was the advantage I was seeking. 

At Salem I found my voice. From my first visit students and professors really listened to me, freely sharing with me and giving me their full attention. 

I am now a third-year medical school student at UNC-Chapel Hill. I also plan to pursue a Masters in Public Health from UNC between my third and fourth years of med school. This degree will help me better understand how my treatments impact the community.”

 

Inclement Weather

Due to inclement weather, all classes have been canceled and all offices will be closed on Monday, February 15, 2016.

Scholarship Weekend events scheduled for Monday, February 15, will take place in the Single Sisters House.
