We encourage women and men ages 23 and up to become Salem students. We offer several options: you may enter to earn an undergraduate degree; a graduate degree; or to gain experience or prepare for further study through one our many Fleer Center courses.
Salem’s faculty members are known not only as excellent teachers but also as mentors and friends. Professors at Salem understand the demands that adult students must meet in addition to course work, and they support and encourage Fleer Center students in their lives outside of class.
While teaching is their first priority, Salem faculty are full-time scholars who keep current on research and developments in their disciplines. More than 90 percent hold the Ph.D. or highest degree in their field.
Professors at Salem truly welcome the varied perspectives that adults bring to class discussions and structure their courses to relate to the mixed-age/multi-cultural classroom.
* Adult Undergraduate Degree Students (Day and Evening)
Women and men 23 and older may earn a B.A., B.S., B.M. or B.S.B.A., degree in any of the 28 majors offered at Salem. Majors available to students who attend only during the evening include business administration and accounting within the bachelor of science in business administration degree (B.S.B.A.); and arts management, communication, interior design, not-for-profit management and sociology in the bachelor of arts degree (B.A.). * Adult Graduate Degree Students
We have a long and proud tradition of providing educational opportunities for women of all ages. We continue this tradition in offering graduate studies programs for women and men who seek career changes or advancement.
