Jan Term 2011

Salem students will be taking intensive classes of their choice ranging from photography at Sawtooth, to personal financial planning and politics in film. Others will be performing internships during January Term at a number of local as well as U.S. and even international nonprofits and companies. There are also four international trips planned: one to Italy for the soccer team; one to Ireland with the chaplain to study Celtic culture; one to Argentina for business and economics students; and one to Vienna to study history, architecture and other cultural movements. A trip to New York City and a course on comparing the arts communities of Winston-Salem and NYC is open to both students and the community.
