Lori A. Lewis has joined Salem College as the new director of financial aid, effective July 13, according to Katherine Knapp Watts, dean of admissions and financial aid.

Lewis, who comes to Salem from Citibank where she was account manager and assistant vice president for the bank’s student loan corporation, earned her bachelor’s of business science degree from Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk, N.C. and her M.B.A. from King College in Bristol, TN. Before that, she was regional school relations representative for NextStudent Inc. and assistant director of financial aid for Lees-McRae College.

Lewis lives in King, NC. She is a member of Alpha Chi honor society as well as the National, Southern and N.C. associations of Student Financial Aid Administrators.
