Leonard Kniffel will speak on "The Googlization of Libraries" on Thursday, April 10 at 7 p.m. in Shirley Recital Hall, Salem Fine Arts Center.

Kniffel is editor in chief of American Libraries, the magazine of the American Library Association, based in Chicago.  American Libraries encompasses a suite of publications including: American Libraries print; American Libraries Online, weekly news and a dynamic website; American Libraries Focus, a video and audio component; American Libraries Direct, a weekly e-newsletter; and two blogs.  Kniffel is the author of A Polish Son in the Motherland: An American's Journey Home, a travel memoir which traces his vivid journey of self discovery and finding his roots.
